If you could combine any two technologies or programming languages to create a new 'super tool' for engineering, which ones would you pick and why? Guided grid system coupled with a raspberry pi that does not take a lot of hardware to make it work with software. The reason for this is let say you have a garden you want to automate weedeating. You have to have a 2d plane with limits etc, I have yet to see a viable solution for this for an outside garden where you can plot plants (Use AI of course) and rake all weeds etc from all other areas. This eliminates weeds altogether.

Can you share an experience where you collaborated with a team to achieve a common goal? What role did you play, and how did working together contribute to the success of the project?
My team was tasked with converting an acquisition company we took on. Our main goal for this was converting all current applications to our platform. To achieve this goal we created a spreadsheet with a hit list of tasks we needed to complete with columns like due date, definition of done, and 100% of completed. This was used to report up to the chain of command and allow us to see at a glance where resources were needed to project how long it would take. Each of us including myself took on tasks on an ongoing basis and we held morning meetings to check in progress and talk about road blocks.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
My team and I upgraded a project for mobile, website, and windows services to replace an legacy system written in VB.NET. This system was massive in size and took my team of 17 developers, database admins, and QA working together with the business unit to accomplish in less than 14 months. We had set back with staff, business knowledge, and sometimes a bit of chaos trying to figure out what was next or what connected to what.
Next Role Expectation
In my next opportunity for employment, I am looking for a challenging and dynamic role that allows me to utilize my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact. I am seeking a position where I can contribute to advancing technologies and working with a team of experts to improve the precision and reliability of end-user experiences. Additionally, I value a supportive and collaborative work environment, where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are encouraged.

Describe yourself and your motivation for new employment.
As a software engineer, my ultimate goal is to create applications that positively impact society. Whether it's developing innovative software solutions that improve people's lives or providing tools that enhance productivity and efficiency, I aspire to lead in creating software that many people will use. I am committed to building software that will expand my passion and affect people's lives worldwide by leveraging my technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

I understand the importance of building sustainable software that minimizes negative impacts on society and the environment while maximizing positive impact. Additionally, I aim to create software that is accessible and user-friendly for all individuals, regardless of their technical expertise or background. By leading the way in software development, I can make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to building a better world.

History
I started programming before I was out of high school in 97 using HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript. I started with C#.NET in 2001 with version 1.1 and have worked with every framework since up to 4.8. I have also been involved with .NET Core 1.0 to the current version. As of now I have been writing Blazor/MUAI applications lately.

With over 20+ Years under me I have messed with alot of different techs and concider myself a principal full stack engineer.

Why I left my last position
KPERS is moving to vendor management only with no internal development staff. This is to combat the overturn it has for employees working for the state/gov.
